Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Korea, Ričardas Šlepavičius presented Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Korea
On 11 October the Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Republic of Korea, Ričardas Šlepavičius presented Letters of Credence to the President of the Republic of Korea Yoon Sook Yeol. During the meeting with the country's President that took place after the letters‘ presentation ceremony, bilateral relations and prospects for cooperation between the two countries were discussed.
Ričardas Šlepavičius is the first diplomatic representative of the Republic of Lithuania residing in Seoul, after the opening of our country's Embassy in South Korea in September last year. The Embassy of Lithuania in South Korea was opened due to Lithuania’s aim to strengthen the country's international position, political and diplomatic relations with like-minded partners in the Asia-Pacific region, enhance the security and well-being of Lithuanian citizens and open up new opportunities for Lithuanian exporters in the most advanced world markets.
