On 22 June 2022 Ambassador Ričardas Šlepavičius presented copies of credential letters to the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Korea, Chief of Protocol Mr. Ryu Jeong-hyun.
During the conversation after the ceremony, R. Šlepavičius and J. Ryu discussed cooperation between Lithuania and South Korea, opportunities to strengthen political dialogue and economic relations between both countries. Ambassador Šlepavičius emphasized that "Lithuania sees South Korea as one of the most important partners in the entire East Asian region".
